Hey, long time no see~
I've been around the interwebs finding a nice place to settle my art on but my mind keeps coming back here to DA. Somehow things make more sense here. IDK I guess a sense of familiarity, maybe? I've known of this site since I was 11 or 12. LOL. Hopefully DA will continue to be up and running still; enough for me to rebuild this ol' page of mine.
Some of you (probably) are wondering what I've been up to the past years then? Well I can try and update you on the most recent ones...I've been making comics!
Lore is my own indie comic. YES I FINALLY STARTED! It's my first ever series. But the first published comic I ever made really was a personal short comic about depression, unemployment and food cravings. You can have a gander and look at it here: tapas.io/episode/76810
There are other stuff on there but I haven't been good at keeping up to date with my online activity cus of work. Speaking of work...
I'm working for a Canadian webcomic called Get Rich! It's a really nice indie webcomic/soon-to-be-animated series about two roomies trying to get by each day and also keeping up to pay rent. It's so far the stable job I have since 4 years ago lol. Yeah, I've also quit working on a regular office/studio job to live the freelance life. 4 years and counting!
Mmmm what else...oh yeah! I'm with this amazing group called Tequila Tea Party. We make awesome art and go to conventions together. This is my first ever project with them, since I'm the newest member. So technically it's my debut! LOL
I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to announce what it really is...the reveal will be on July!! I'll make sure to keep people posted :3
That's it so far...I think. I've done a lot of book illustration jobs as well but I don't think I'll be uploading them here anymore. 4 years is a lot of upload and spamming isn't nice. lol! I'll just begin anew and make new art along the way. I could probably upload some of my best works from the past years as a TBT upload or something. Hehe. Let's see~
